Janet Linton, BACP
About me
I specialise in person-centred counselling which means I work with my clients in a client-led, non-directive way. This allows me to help you dig deeper into your feelings to find clarity and/or give you closure that you need, thus enabling me not to teach you but rather allows us to explore and manage the emotions you are feeling.
As a creative therapist/counsellor I like to gain the trust of my client by providing a quality service and a strong support system. I do this by providing my clients with a safe, non-judgemental, ethical and therapeutic therapy.
My approach makes it possible for me to provide you with the tools and insights for managing factors, including, but not limited to, mental health problems - including anxiety, depression and suicidal ideation.
Ultimately, by providing you with these tools your counselling will allow you to lead a healthy and fulfilling life.
I promise to show empathy at all times, and trust in you and your ability to achieve change.
To maximise your potential and get on the right path to to starting a positive change for your journey, ask me to explore what I believe is already within you.
I look forward to working with you

Janet is very concerned and understandable person, and she responded to me through messages as much as she can and guide me to the direction suitable for me

Janet’s a great counsellor. She brings a personal touch and talks about her own experiences instead of just reading from a textbook.
