About me
"With all things of life; the hardest thing to learn, is to unlearn what we think we already know to be true."
I am licensed in New York, Massachusetts, and Oregon with over 12 years of Clinical Psychotherapy work experience. In a supportive non judgmental down-to-earth atmosphere I believe in complete transparency and fully engaging each client to ensure a person centered approach to treatment and goal setting. I have been working with Amy for quite some time now and I have to say how grateful I am to have found such a great therapist. She listens and reassures me at a time where I have been experiencing a ton of self-doubt and major challenges. I see a light at the end of this dark tunnel and having the ability to schedule time with Amy has made all the difference in my ability to get through this. So very grateful! She is a fantastic person and therapist - I would highly recommend her!!

She listens and understands. She makes me feel like me feelings are valid. I'm seen and heard. She suggests other helpful tools like books or somatic exercises. She's great

I initially had a session with Amy Jo Hilts over a year ago and her great advice stuck with me for so long that I knew she would be a great resource for me now that I’m struggling again. She was kind enough to see me right away and just like last time, was super helpful. Looking forward to more sessions with her in the future!

Amy - Jo has been kind, non-judgemental, and understanding. She is patient and offered a good listening ear. She also will explain psychology, and nerd out if you're like me and want to know that sort of thing. ☺️
