Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Cheuk Ka Karlie Lam. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Karlie listens, asks questions and make me feel validated and seen. When I'm feeling alone and just generally down, she is there and after the session I feel better. She creates judge free zone and tries her best to adress my concerns. She helped me through the hard times of burnout and loss. Thanks to her I was able to finish my tasks, conqueer my deadlines and start the next chapter in my life. She always reached out to me to make sure I don't forget to schedule next session. Sometimes it was a sole reason I continied therapy when I couldn't make myself to do anything. I feel grateful to have her. ❤️

Cheuk Ka Karlie Lam is a really understanding, empathetic, non judgmental counsellor she has a great way of putting things into perspective and challenging my way of thinking and turning it into a positive, I really like this of her because I need this to change my way of thinking as it’s massively helped me with my anxiety. I always feel better when I speak to Karlie and I love she takes the time out of sessions to get back to me. I highly recommend Karlie she’s been amazing for me.

She's extremely adaptable and empathetic. She's able to put herself in the shoes of someone (myself) who is from a completely foreign and different culture and region of the globe. That takes a lot of introspection, care, and deep thought. I have a lot of respect for her, and I'm thankful to have had her.

Karlie's help has been invaluable to me in the months engaging with therapy. I had struggled with mounting anxiety, particularly with my health and it was impacting on all areas of my life, I'd reached a burnout stage in my career. Karlie gave me strategies which has enabled me to be rational with my thoughts and prevent panic attacks. I have gone full circle and am more settled in my career and am proactive with my health with very minimal in the way of health anxieties. Therapy has enabled me to identify underlying neurodivergent issues that have likely exacerbated anxiety and panic and I now have the mechanisms to manage these. My life is more structured and I have a routine. Karlie has been a great support during some additional life stresses that happened during engaging with therapy which historically would have really set me back and been detrimental to my mental health but I have had the knowledge and tools to overcome these challenges and I am eternally grateful.

Karlie is a gentle soul who genuinely listens to you. She has said so many little gems that I have to write them down in a notebook! They are great reminders to myself when I'm navigating my mental wellness. Thanks Karlie!
