About me

I am an LCSW located in Rhode Island. I have been working in the field of social work for 8 years. I have provided home-based services, case management, homeless outreach, crisis intervention and therapy. I provide a strengths/person-based approach towards therapy. I have worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, trauma, and substance use/abuse.

I believe therapy can be beneficial and rewarding. It can assist individuals in gaining a better understanding of themselves and learn how to improve their quality of life. My approach to therapy is positive and strengths-based. Everyone is a person first and a diagnosis/mental health issue second. Learning to accept and be kind to yourself is an important skill. I use Motivational Interviewing and CBT regularly. Incorporating other treatment modalities to provide the best evidence-based practice for the presenting issues.

Thank you for reading this! I wish you the best of luck in life!
