About me

I best identify as a wounded healer; through my experiences of suffering, I gained the most beautiful gift. I know what it feels like to be on the "other side" of the couch, which allows me to fully empathize with my clients and provide them with a space to feel seen, understood, and safe to be vulnerable.

I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Florida. I have three years of experience working in various clinical settings, including emergency departments, pediatric and adult inpatient stabilization, Intensive Outpatient/Partial Hospitalization Programs, outpatient acute care, and hospice. My style of therapy is founded on acknowledging that my clients are experts in their lives. I embody this belief by providing person-centered care, unconditional positive regard, and inspiring hope in my clients that they can become in tune with their strengths to propel positive changes. I place immense value on building a trusting, collaborative, and authentic relationship with my clients.

I have expertise in working with clients suffering from anxiety, depression, lack of motivation, self-esteem issues, and coping with grief and loss.

My therapeutic approach utilizes an eclectic blend of evidence-based treatments, including person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy.

The relationship between a client and therapist is like no other. I strive to empower my clients to meet their goals by creating a genuine human connection that fosters a sense of safety for them to express themselves in a space that harbors no judgments, fears, or expectations. Come as you are; I am here to walk beside you.
