Gerard Quinn, BACP
About me
I am a therapist because I have come to learn that a tremendous amount of people feel alone, left out, unheard, irrelevant, tired, worthless, unconnected, unwelcomed, sad, anxious and fearful. They need someone to listen to them. They need someone to help them see they have value. They need skills to help them change their sadness and fear, to happiness and courage.
I have come to learn that a tremendous amount of people feel alone, left out, unheard, irrelevant, tired, worthless, unconnected, unwelcomed, sad, anxious and fearful. They need someone to listen to them. They need someone to teach them they have value. They need skills to help them change their sadness and fear to happiness and courage.
I realised early on I had a knack for guiding people through darkness. I became a therapist because I am human and have fought my own battles, not always with ease but with hope and determination. It’s kind of like “giving back,” if you will. If I can help one client live with more authenticity and pride, my job is done.
I am a fully qualified Person Centred Counsellor, registered with The British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and have experience of working with many different people with many different issues.

Gerard is the single greatest human and therapist you’ll every come across. So understanding, caring and patience. He definitely knows what he’s talking about. Cannot recommend him enough :-)

Gerard is very person centred in his approach and not one glove fits all, I am only at the start of my journey with Gerard, and I am looking forward for what’s to come.

Highly recommended, very good listener. Only had a few sessions initially just starting out, but after every session I feel a weight lifted and he is always just a message away. Thanks Gerard
