About me

Therapy can be an invaluable tool towards regaining a sense of control and peace over your life. Therapy should allow you to begin to focus your energy inward, into healing yourself. This process will allow you feel empowered to work toward your future goals.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Chicago. I obtained my Masters degree from Columbia University in the City of New York and most recently have been working inpatient as a hospital Social Worker.

My counseling style is pretty laid back but informative. I have been described as supportive, caring, and compassionate, with a pretty good sense of humor. I like to focus on exploring the past, identifying your strengths and helping you to maximize them by creating goals that focus on overcoming your obstacles. I can assist you with your feelings of depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and other mental health concerns, or if you need a life coach or someone to talk to who will listen to you. I am here to help you sort through the things that are difficult right now and offer you a safe space to be open and honest without fear of judgment about anything you say or write to me.

When I am not working, I love to travel around the world, hike (as much as I can given that I work in a city) and sing (not professionally), and I am learning to cook as my self-care.

I look forward to working alongside you as you move towards achieving your goals!

I have been struggling with anxiety and depression more than usual recently. Hannah has been such a great support. She offers me a safe space to express my emotions and provides me with the comfort I've been needing lately. I couldn't recommend her enough!

So far I have done three sessions with Hannah and she has been very attentive with me. She takes the time to respond to my messages in a timely manner. I find it is easy to talk to her and be open about myself. It’s only the beginning of our time together, so I’m really looking forward to seeing where our future sessions take us.
