Jemma Thomson, BACP
About me
Welcome!
I’m an integrative counsellor working in a mostly person centred way with experience in trauma, women’s health, anxiety, depression, abuse and family/relationship difficulties. I also use a number of solution focused tools to help you with day to day function while we explore the deeper issues. I have worked successfully with somatic responses and the nervous system and have a particular interest in attachment.
I aim to provide a safe, relaxed and informal space to explore what you bring with you, and we will work together on finding an approach in a collaborative way.

I still have a long way to go but Jemma has been instrumental in helping me with my issues with addiction and some bad habits I’ve picked up from my childhood. Not only do I understand my behaviour better and why I am the way I am and act the way I do, but Jemma has also helped put in place techniques to help me become a more well rounded individual.

Jemma is absolutely brilliant. She is extremely comfortable to talk to and open up to. She’s extremely supportive and offers possible solutions and causes to the way you feel. She has zero judgement and is just an amazing person.
