About me

I am licensed in North Carolina with 3 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, parenting issues, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & depression. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.

Mental health counseling works to help restore a state of well-being and provide the tools in order to cope with various struggles that life can bring. Having someone else to talk to other than a family member can provide a sense of comfort especially when dealing with emotional distress. Counselors will work closely with the clients and their parents/ guardians in order to provide the best possible tools in order to be able to create a plan for success in order to ameliorate this emotional distress or behavior problems. This would include but is not limited to, behavior modification, de-escalation techniques, and school success. Counselors will also work with parents for parent training in order to continue the treatment plan while in the home. The ultimate goal of counseling is to establish mental equilibrium in order to live the best life possible.
