Joan Sulzmann, LICSW
About me
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a Master of Social Work degree from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ. I have over 30 years experience in the areas of post-traumatic stress, life transitions such as recovery from divorce, life after retirement or the management of health challenges and a specialty in empowering domestic violence survivors.
I believe that I am a partner and guide to help others achieve stability, personal growth and inner peace. I consider it a privilege when someone shares a personal life story with me, and I respect the courage it takes to do that. I will help to identify strengths and to build confidence, as well as lead to resources which will give tools for a fulfilling life.
