About me
I am a Certified Counsellor in Scotland, UK, with three and a half years of experience. Throughout my career, I have assisted clients facing an array of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, parenting issues, career issues, motivation, self-esteem and confidence to name a few. I have also provided support to individuals who have suffered physical and emotional abuse, whether in childhood or as an adult.
In my therapeutic approach, I strive to create a safe and interactive space. Central to my practice is my core belief in treating everyone with respect, compassion and sensitivity. We are all unique with unique experiences and stories. I integrate Person-Centred Counselling, humanistic principles with mindfulness techniques to tailor my therapy to the individuals needs.
Embarking on a journey toward a more fulfilling and whole life requires courage and taking this first step can be daunting, know that I am here to offer support and to empower you along the way.

First time doing therapy but talking to Joanne made me feel at ease straight away, I felt like I could open up and it was a safe space. I would recommend Joanne as she listens and doesn’t judge and try’s to help you work through whatever it might be patiently and intently.
