Hi all! My name is Lori Humphries. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I have 12 years of experience working in behavioral health and addictions. Life can throw a lot of curve balls. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, work stress, relationship changes, or any other difficulty counseling is a great resource to help you take the steps to change the direction you want to go. My therapeutic approach is aimed at providing evidence-based treatment, ongoing support, and practical application/feedback to assist clients in navigating through life's tough issues. I help you learn how to use effective coping strategies as a way to allow you to take understand and process your emotions instead of your emotions taking control of you and the situation. I integrate aspects of solution focused and cognitive therapy approaches to address your needs. Likewise, I have extensive experience in treating anxiety, PTSD, mood disorders, trauma and abuse.
