Marlo Shepard, LMFT
About me
I am licensed in Louisiana and Mississippi with 20 years of professional work experience with teenagers and adults. I have experience in helping clients with a variety of issues, including stress, anxiety, coping with addictions, family conflicts, motivation, self esteem, & confidence. I have background working with depression and emotional abuse. I also have extensive time involved with helping those who suffer from panic attacks and disorder.
My therapy style is one with a foundation of warmth and collaboration. I believe that an openness in the therapeutic relationship is built upon respect and a safe environment, where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. My approach combines solution-focused, narrative, and transformational systemic therapies with CBT and DBT activities. I strive to create goals and plans unique to every client and their input and specific needs.
It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
I look forward to helping you take back the positive beliefs in your life.
