About me

Seeking help for something as stigmatized as mental health is in my opinion one of the most difficult yet rewarding decisions one can make. It is my goal as a therapist to come along side you and help peel back the intricate layers of your experiences, thoughts, and feelings, then teach you how to listen to your body, cope healthily with everyday life, and live in the present.

I am passionate about working with teens and young adults as they explore the world around them and how they fit into it, as well as the geriatric population and the challenges associated with aging. Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy are both part of my therapeutic approach.

My career in this field began in 2020 with 1.5 years as a case manager with the geriatric population, followed by 3 years as a school-based mental health professional. The University of Arkansas at Little Rock awarded me my Masters in Social Work in 2020 after I received my Bachelor’s in Social Work in 2017 with a minor in Sociology from Missouri Southern State University.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband, son, dog, and extended family and friends, as well as crafting, reading, or camping.
