I’ve been working with Rick for a little over a year. A year ago, I was incredibly reactive and ready to escalate anything at all into either utter panic or fury. Yesterday I almost missed an important work task- a year ago, I would absolutely have cried and yelled and panicked that I would be fired. Yesterday I decided to be calm, because getting upset wouldn’t fix it faster. If that isn’t a five-star review, I don’t know what is.

Rick has helped me tremendously to gain back some normalcy in my life. At one time I was wracked with anxiety/worry about things that I believed were out of my control and Rick helped me to pull myself out of that cycle. He's a very patient man and has a careful ear for listening to your problems. He gives you his full attention when you're with him and he'll give you his honest feedback, everytime. He has a very direct approach to problem-solving, which I really appreciated. Overall, he's been fantastic in helping me to cope with what has been giving me so much fear/anxiety. I'm very grateful for having him here to give me the tools/perspective I need to keep on living my life and to deal with anxiety the best way I can: one day at a time. Thanks, Rick

Rick Fulton has proven to be a very helpful person for me this year. When I signed up, I was an emotional wreck due to family turmoil, a divorce, and losing my job. He helped me sort through my many feelings, gave me great advice, and provided resources I didn't even know to Google for. My fiance and I saw Rick for couples therapy and though it was not his area of expertise, he was very patient and helped us work on some of our communication issues. He also gave some good insight that one may not necessarily have if seeing a counselor who only specializes in couples, so it was a valuable experience.

I’m a pharmacy student and have had struggles with anxiety, depression, and shutting down often. Our school pays for free counseling, but with our schedules as a student and the office’s packed schedule, it was hard to see a therapist as regularly as I needed to. I often had break downs from stress and was emotionally shut down. I had gone a few times, but I didn’t feel like anything was that great.
By having an open dialogue with Rick Fulton, in just over 1 month, I was able to realize what the source of my issues were. I know how to get better and will continue to work on it. He made it relatable! I am a bookworm and nerdy and it he explained it to me in my language. I am getting better, I am more calm. I still have moments, but I have been able to avoid medications and all their horrible side effects. Like I mentioned before, I am a pharmacy student and would rather not have to take an antidepressant or antianxiety medication.
It’s work, but I never thought I would have a chance at overcoming my anxiety/depression that is so closely linked to my past.
Rick’s help has not only helped me in my personal life, but also to become a more well-rounded practitioner with better professional relationships- which means that I can truly become the best for patients!

Rick has a very solution-based approach in treatment and I have made so much progress with him. This has been a great change of pace from therapists who have let me marinate on my issues, instead of focusing on moving past them. Thank you Rick!

At first I was skeptical about using an online counselor, but this seemed to be the best option for me at the time. I do not regret it at all! Rick has been an amazing counselor who has given me many tools to use with my anxiety. I have seen a change in my confidence and how I view my anxiety. Rick is very attentive, and I appreciate that he checks on me periodically if he hasn't heard from me in awhile. I haven't been able to confide in many people about my anxiety, but Rick has made this experience comfortable and has guided me along every step of my journey.
Thank you Rick!

Rick was super helpful and caring. He responded very quickly, which I found most helpful. He always gave assignments for me to do in between our live chats. This gave me something to work on that improved myself even when I'm not talking to Rick.

So far, I'd like to testify that Rick has been very helpful at helping me become a more positive person and to help me feel better about myself regardless of what other people might say. Encourage me to live my life and not necessarily be concerned with how other people would want me to leave it.

Great, practical therapist. Not a lot of "fluff". Rick helped me make huge breakthroughs on problems that had been haunting me for years, and we did that in a short period of time. Never have I felt such gratitude to someone I have never met in person. Thanks Rick-You're the best!
PS: In my case, I think the initial anonymity of online therapy allowed me to more easily talk about my problems. Don't know that I would have ever visited a therapist in person.

Rick has been incredibly insightful and I really feel that I can openly express myself with him. He always responds quickly and his feedback is almost always helpful. And he is non-judgmental. I feel comfortable talking with him and it truly helps me in my day to day life. I appreciate Rick, and this service, very much. I am not sure that I ever would have gone into a physical office to meet with a counselor so this has been a big step for me.
Written on Feb 25, 2015 after therapy with Rick for 3 weeks on issues concerning self esteem
Rick was a great counselor for me! He is honest without being judgmental, so it was very easy to be open with him. He has given me some really concrete tools to deal with anxiety and to help me feel more confident. He's also given me thoughtful advice to help me deal with more specific issues that have come up in my life including relationship changes, leaving my job, and moving out of state.
I've very much appreciated Rick's timely responses to my messages (usually he responds within the hour, even though we're in different time zones!), and I've also really liked the fact that he checks in when he hasn't heard from me in a few days (but never in an obtrusive way).
Rick is the kind of counselor I've been looking for for years, and I would highly recommend him.

I've been working with Rick for about 4 months now. He immediately answered some questions that had been plaguing me for years. Since that time, Rick has been a great sounding board and guide where problems in my marriage are concerned. The use of the Internet as a medium by which to communicate is great because I can do it entirely in my own time, and more specifically, when I need it. I've also found that writing helps me organize my thoughts. I would recommend Rick as a therapist to anyone who is having marital or relationship issues.

I started texting Rick last month he hit my problem right away I I am feeling better. He has told me to how to work on myself. I have a long way to go but I am sure Rick will get me through. This texting is great for me as I am starting to be agoraphobic so I can get help without going out. I highly recommend Rick he has given me hope when I was hopeless.
