Sharlene was an empathetic, energetic, and competent counselor. She often knew what I was trying to say even when I struggled how to articulate it, because of her great emotional intelligence and listening abilities. I greatly benefited from Sharlene's balanced approach to the healing journey, including nourishing the body and spirit in addition to the mind – I truly learned well-rounded tools to manage my depression, anxiety, and processing painful events from my past. Sharlene was very good at identifying what I needed to process or explore, and giving me specific and helpful homework to process and learn those things (e.g. journaling prompts specific to my struggles). Even when I had different struggles or topics week-to-week as I was going through a lot of changes, Sharlene was very adept at pivoting topics and techniques to address my struggles for that week. I highly recommend Sharlene as she helped me meet my therapy goals and I feel comfortable taking a pause on individual therapy for now and taking what I've learned from her on my journey forward.

Sharlene Bullock is a fantastic therapist and amazing human. She has supported me and given me her all through the time she has worked me. She didn't load me with advice on the questions and worries I carried. Sharlene listened. She supported me as she helped me think and process, offering a helpful and compassionate word at the right time.
Sharlene has played a big role in helping me grow. I have overcome much of my social anxiety with her support over time.
After 2 years, I am closing my membership because I have met the goals she helped me set. It was worth every penny! I got what I needed. I also processed a lot of trauma with her.
I am so grateful for Sharlene. She's the type of therapist that puts her client first. She fits her therapy to the client, and not the other way around. I'm sure that every client comes to Sharlene with a different background and specific needs. I would recommend Sharlene to anyone!

Meeting with Sharlene for well over a year I feel like I have grown in so many ways emotionally that I hadn't thought possible for a long time. I was able to talk things through without judgement and even when she questioned my responses I never felt attacked or belittled. I always left our sessions feeling like I had accomplished something in my personal growth journey. Unfortunately I have to take a break and it is truly hard to think of not having my weekly video sessions but I am also at a point where I have learned enough skills to cope with whatever may arise and Sharlene has made me feel comfortable that when I am ready to reestablish my sessions I can always return which is great news to me since I do intend to be back after my brief pause and would love to be able to speak with her again.

Working with Sharlene was so special. She made me feel comfortable after our first session. Her ability to connect with you is so beneficial in each session, as you navigate through what brought you to therapy to begin with. Highly recommend :)
