My focus is to build a trusting relationship with you, truly listen with compassion to understand your needs and collaborate with you to meet your expectations. I am a licensed mental health therapist in Hawaii with 20 years of professional work experience. I enjoy working with clients of all ages including children, teenagers and adults with a variety of presenting needs as well as multicultural counseling with clients including Asian-Americans, Black-Americans, immigrants and LGBTQIA+ clients. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, grief and loss, trauma and abuse, & motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior therapy and use a variety of modalities including Solutions-Focused, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness. I will tailor our time together and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I believe in providing resources, education and support in order to help you meet your goals and improve the quality of your life.
