Tahzeeb Gillani, LPC, LMFT
About me
I am a licensed professional counselor with a concentration of marriage and family therapy in Colorado with over 4 years of experience working as a therapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression and anxiety. I also helped many those who have experienced trauma whether it be physical, emotional or sexual abuse. My counseling style is empathetic yet straightforward. I believe in treating people with compassion and respect. My approach can combine cognitive-behavioral therapy with either play therapy and or narrative therapy. I also enjoy practicing solution focused therapy as well as mindfulness to help. My treatment plan will be keeping each individual in mind and working together on the goals that have been set by you. It takes strength to attend therapy and just like your physical health your mental health is just as important. The first steps are scary but I would love to help you with change that can lead to a happier and balanced life.I am excited and also looking forward to working with you.

2.5 months of working with Tahzeeb and it was amazing. So helpful, and so positively honest about her feedback. I worked with her about relationship and personal anxiety. A good listener and every week had good feedback and suggestions for me. She helped me realize things I already ‘knew’ but finally realized and faced. Hopeful moving forward now!

Tahzeeb is very kind and understanding. She helped me get over one of my biggest fears that caused me a ton of anxiety and I’ll forever be thankful for that! I loved working with her, she was always prepared for our sessions, which mattered a lot to me as she really did listen to what I had to say!
