It takes courage to seek out therapy and my goal is to create a space where you will feel safe, trusted and supported to explore what is important to you. I will work empathically and collaboratively with you by seeking to understand what is going well and areas which you would like to change. Drawing from principles of positive psychology and executive coaching, I will work with you to set goals to help you move forward in areas where you might feel stuck. I believe that one of the most important aspects of therapy is fit/rapport with your therapist. Therefore, I will often check in with you to make sure that we are going in a direction that you want. Your time is valuable and it is important that we are meeting your goals for seeking out therapy. I am a licensed psychologist in Maryland with over 20 years of experience working with diverse clients in a variety of settings, including higher education and healthcare.
