About me
If you have made it to this BetterHelp website then perhaps you have made a choice that now is the time to get some professional help. It can be scary booking your first appointment, but I am here to help. Sometimes life is tough and we find ourselves struggling to make sense of things, which can be a lonely and confusing experience. I can help with a wide range of issues, including anxiety and depression, relationship difficulties, stress, low self-esteem, bereavement and adolescent therapy.
I'm an experienced fully qualified and warm therapist. I offer long and short term, one to one counselling to individuals (18+) depending on what is right for you. My approach is person-centred, I will respect your unique experience of life and between us, we can explore your issues that are too difficult to manage alone.
I will support you by listening empathetically and being reflective of your experience to help you in expanding your awareness so that you can work through feelings that overwhelm and confuse you. My aim is to provide you with a safe and supportive space where your concerns can be explored in a sensitive, thoughtful and imaginative way.

I'm very happy to have found Yvonne. Her calm and attentive nature helps me stay grounded during the session. She leaves room for silence and helps me identify my emotions, sometimes offers a new perspective and opinion in a non-judgemental manner.

Yvonne Henry is an amazing and very calm person. She makes me feel safe and appreciated. When I talk with her it’s helping me to think differently and she makes me figure out feelings that I have deep inside but never voiced out loud—It helps me a lot to work on myself and to be and do better. I truly appreciate her and I’m so glad to have found her. I truly can recommend Yvonne. She’s the best.

Yvonne has helped tremendously with gaining confidence and centering myself. I was able to explore some of my past events that resulted in me having negative thoughts, some of which I was nervous and embarrassed to talk about but Yvonne was always understanding and kind, while also asking me questions that helped me come to a healthy approach. Never had a bad or inappropriate experience with her.
