Dr. Keith Breiman, LCSW
About me
My name is Keith Breiman and I've provided individual, family, and couples counseling for over three decades in private practice and in a variety of organizational settings. My earliest training was in Gestalt Therapy which both educated and heightened my cognitive, emotional, and affective sensitivity enabling me to be in the present moment with you.
Since those early days, I've had extensive training and experience with other orientations (psychodynamic, cognitive behavior ...) and have incorporated how I practice from all of them, as well as from each client, couple, and family. I've learned that each therapeutic relationship brings a client(s) with a unique blend of strengths, problematic habits, blind spots, and individually-specific needs that are not being addressed successfully. My experience is that when treatment works, these areas are gradually and sensitively uncovered, and in that process, we will first work together as a team to provide you with a better understanding of your challenges and, then, collectively, create appropriate strategies to address them.
Professional experience
Clinical approaches: Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy

Dr. Breiman is hands down the best therapist I've ever had. I was in a very dark place, mentally, physically, and financially. I was struggling with my occupation, my relationship with my girlfriend, and fighting unnecessary battles with friends and family members. Keith has coached me through the toughest times to keep me going, and make life suck a little less with each session. Now I've completely changed for the better, and it's all thanks to him motivating me. I've changed careers to something that is not only something I found I love doing, but is paying more. On top of that, my bond with my friends and family have never been stronger. And as for my girlfriend and I, she is now my fiance, and I couldn't be happier! Thank you so much Keith Breiman! I will never forget you!

I really enjoyed my time with Dr. Breiman. He helped me navigate some difficult scenarios with my spouse, my family, motherhood and with my business. The thing I appreciate most about Dr. Breiman is how succinct he is. He is very clear and deliberate with his advice and I have incorporated his council into my daily life for the better.
