About me
As a licensed counselor based in Alabama with over 17 years of experience, I specialize in helping individuals who have faced various challenges in their lives. My primary areas of expertise include helping clients who have experienced sexual abuse, physical abuse, anxiety, bullying, low self-esteem, relationship issues, and various types of traumas.
I firmly believe in the inherent resilience of individuals and their capacity to overcome difficult circumstances with the right guidance and support. My goal is to create a safe and empathetic environment where clients can explore their emotions, thoughts, and experiences. By fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship, I aim to empower my clients to navigate through the trouble areas in their lives and find healing, growth, and personal fulfillment.
I approach counseling from a person-centered perspective, tailoring my therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs and goals of each client. I draw upon a range of evidence-based techniques and interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, and mindfulness practices, to help clients develop coping skills, manage distressing emotions, and foster positive change.
I firmly believe in the importance of ongoing support. I am dedicated to walking alongside you on your journey toward healing and personal transformation, providing guidance, encouragement, and resources as needed.
