Aesha Johnson, LCSW-C
About me
In a world that inundates us with all things negative it’s hard to weed through all of the noise. You need a safe place to do just that. I’m here to give you that safe place. I just want you to win!
I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 16 years of experience working with individuals to help them maintain their mental and physical health and well-being in the least restrictive environment.
My preferred therapeutic methods are solution focused, client-centered, motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy.
Mindset is everything. It is important to know that thoughts become things. In other words, your thoughts and feelings can produce actions that are causing you not to function in your daily life in a way that would allow you to be productive.
We will work together to help you recognize your current way of thinking and behavior and equip you with tools that can change your harmful thoughts into helpful thoughts that will produce positive action.
We will work together to help you create goals with plans that you will be excited to execute because they will lead you to the life you truly want to live.
I look forward to helping you become the best you, you can be.

Additional areas of focus: Career difficulties

Ms. Johnson has been a pleasure to work with over the past year and a half. She truly listens and supports my therapeutic goals. She also provides me with a wide variety of resources to fit my therapeutic needs. My overall mental wellness has improvde a great deal since I began working with her in 2022. I would recommend her to any young woman in their early adulthood who is navigating life.

Aesha is the only therapist that I have stuck with out of the many therapist that I have tried. She has been able to get me to let my guard down and really open up. I feel that she really listens to my concerns and provides me with a game plan to be able to tackle my goals. She helps me with my mindset most of all to help me to view things differently than what I am doing.
