Dr. Alexander Kohl, LPC
About me
Hello! My name is Dr. Alex Kohl and I have over 15 years experience working with a wide variety of mental health concerns. I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment so my clients feel safe and heard while discussing difficult issues. I believe in treating the whole individual, not just their symptoms, and will work with you to determine realistic and achievable goals. One of the most important aspects about therapy is that you find a therapist that you feel comfortable with and can trust. I hope I can help you along this process!
I take a flexible and integrative approach using the biopsychosocial model. I utilize various theoretical orientations and treatment modalities to meet the specific needs of each of my clients. Every treatment plan I make is different so that each client gets the most effective treatment possible.
Therapy is useful for those in crisis, as well as those experiencing daily life struggles, and I will do everything I can to help you develop and achieve your goals in therapy.
