Alexandra Kiss, BACP
About me
Hello and welcome to my profile! My name is Alexandra and I am an integrative counsellor based in the United Kingdom (England). Therefore, my practice and insurance are governed by English and Welsh law.
I combine a person-centred approach, Gestalt therapy, transactional analysis and biopsychosocial approach when I work with clients.
I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including historical abuse, relationship problems, stress, anxiety, burnout and so on. I also helped clients when they faced a specific challenge or problem in life or wanted to understand themselves and others better.
My style is warm, and I provide a 'safe place' to come and explore yourself and your problems. Counselling provides space to share and to be listened to, enabling you to grow and find your best potential in a nonjudgmental and empathic way.

Alexandra is very professional, patient and a great listener. She remembers things that I talked about and can always point out what things might be bothering me and what I can do to become/ feel better. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of therapy! :)

I really enjoy my sessions with Alexandra. I always feel heard, understood, and validated, no matter the subject being discussed. I would highly recommend her as a therapist.

Dr. Kiss is a formidable therapist. For the past several months her skillful expertise has helped me unpack my emotions and guide me through a couple of months of intense family relationships. I am so very happy that I "stumbled" upon the betterhelp app (through one of my favorite podcasts) and that I was "matched' with Dr. Kiss! Thank you so much. I am so grateful and shall definitely recommend both the app and Dr. Kiss to friends and family.

I really enjoy working with Alexandra, and I feel very calm & comfortable from her demeanour. She asks questions that make me reflect and come to realisations that I wouldn't have without her. She has been very helpful, listening, and a great support to me in a period when I really needed a therapist on the sideline.
