About me

I am Dr. Alishea Rowley, a psychotherapist specializing in working with individuals and families for over 16 years. I practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, stress and anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, adjustment issues, OCD, and and a wide range of other clinical diagnosis.

I believe in treating clients with respect, empathy, and non-judgmental positive regard. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe that clients underestimate the power they possess to survive and thrive. My primary goal is to listen with sensitivity, compassion, and intent to identify the most effective strategies to lessen the unwanted feelings and behaviors and lead them to living the lives they desire. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

Reaching out for help is a big step and I acknowledge the courage it takes to find healing. I believe that difficulties in life are inevitable and reaching out for help is necessary to live a balanced life. With a patient, warm, and empathetic ear, I will guarantee my undivided attention and genuineness. The counseling environment is warm, collaborative, and designed to foster healing and growth. As your therapist, my entire focus would be to remain present with you as I express my genuine regard for your wellbeing.
