Alison Simone, BACP
About me
I am an integrative therapist licensed in the UK with seven years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, & parenting issues. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!
INTEGRATIVE THERAPY is a combined approach to psychotherapy that brings together different elements of specific therapies. Integrative therapists take the view that there is no single approach that can treat each client in all situations.
I also amalgamate science with spirituality, identifying that we have the power of our internal strength, to change the structure of our brain. You can eliminate old thought patterns and habits, and create new, by way of Neuroplasticity.
Person Centred: Client Talking Therapy.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): Working together to resolve present day concerns. Psychodynamic: Exploring childhood and deep-rooted issues. Solution Focused: A goal directed collaborative approach. Existential: Existential therapy focuses on free will, self-determination, and the search for meaning, often cantering on you rather than on the symptom. This approach emphasizes your capacity to make rational choices and to develop to your maximum potential.

Alison is a great therapist! She knows when to give, when to listen, and when to wait. She supports your evolved self and is brilliantly timed in offering reminders of what and how we can live out our true selves. She has been great in getting me to reconnect to my basic goodness and showing me ways that I don't need to tolerate everything for everyone. Thank you so much Alison

Alison is an excellent therapist. She has many tools under her belt to offer and every one has been relevant to me and very useful. I'm so grateful to Betterhelp for connecting me with Alison and very grateful to Alison for being so aware, wise, skilled, considerate and caring. Alison has really helped me in many ways and the results have been actually life changing. The dark, self-destructive thoughts are all but gone as a direct result of speaking with Alison and I feel I'm finally moving through and past some heavy lifelong issues and all beginning to feel lighter, less burdened and more in tune with myself. Thank you Alison. X
