Alyssa Lasoff, LCSW
About me
Hi there. I'm pleased to introduce myself, and I offer warm congratulations on taking a step toward taking care of your most precious asset - you. My name is Alyssa, and I have been an LCSW since 2016, having graduated with my Master's in Social Work in 2010 and worked in many fields of social work ahead of obtaining my clinical license. I've had experience with a wide range of populations and settings. A few of these include medical/physical rehab/hospice settings, family therapy, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care, diagnostic assessment and crisis intervention.
I am comfortable working with clients in all modalities of communication: phone, video, and text. I strive to check messages frequently as time permits during my open hours. I offer flexibility in scheduling with evening and weekend availability.
My therapeutic style is open and free from judgment. I focus on meeting you where you are at, to help you get where you are meant to go. I am able to utilize techniques of CBT, family systems therapy, solution focused therapy, and a strengths based approach to help you find a stronger sense of self, peace, and more clarity on your life path. When you work with me, you can expect to be gently challenged but never harshly criticized.
If you feel we may be a good fit, have any questions or need further information, I encourage you to reach out and look forward to chatting with you. Take care!

Alyssa is companionate and a good listener, she stays neutral and on topic. She offers great advice and has given me useful tools to use and we have only been connected for a couple weeks.

Right from the start we knew Alyssa was the right person for us. She is very down to Earth and easy to open us to.
