My name is Amanda Christian and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Field Traumatologist. I have seven years experience in the mental health and substance abuse field. I specialize in stress response, trauma, addiction, anxiety, and social skills building. It is my pleasure to assist you as you make your way toward a healthier life. I use a wide variety of skills, techniques, and interventions in therapy. I believe that healing comes from authentic connection, so I am deeply committed to strengthening the therapeutic relationship. I listen without judgment and provide interventions based on the strengths, needs, and goals of each individual served. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Compassion Fatigue Educator, and Compassion Fatigue Therapist. I enjoy helping people find healing, connection, and practical strategies to resolve problems in their lives. I am so grateful for Amanda. Our weekly sessions and her encouragement in between video sessions are genuinely helping me survive the current hell I am living. Amanda has already been so helpful, knowledgeable and supportive even in the short weeks we’ve been in contact. She is flexible with scheduling and offers alternatives to my hectic schedule if needed. She is available and responds quickly.
