Amanda Le Tissier, NCPS
About me
Hi, I am a therapist, licensed in the UK, with 25 years of professional work experience. I have experience of helping clients with a variety of issues including stress and anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, loss and grief, pet bereavement, addiction, anger, relationship problems, motivation, low self esteem, and lack of confidence. I am an integrated therapist, in that I use interventions from various schools of therapy but I use Cognitive Behaviour Therapy in the main. I am also an Inner Child practitioner. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming the things in life that challenge you. Without challenge there cannot be change. I am here to help you acquire the change you want and will be with you every step of the way on our journey together. I am happy to work with you using video, telephone or live chat/messaging. I became a therapist because of overcoming trauma and loss in my own life and I want to use these life experiences to help others. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy takes courage and I am proud of you for getting started. I hope to have the privilege and pleasure of working with you soon. Take care, Amanda

Amanda is truly brilliant at what she does. She’s given me the space to open up at my own pace and has made me feel safe throughout the process. I feel comfortable and, for the first time, able to believe that the things I’ve been struggling with for so long can actually be dealt with—and that I can recover. I have Amanda to thank for that.
