About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy can provide clients with the tools and support to get through tough times and serve as a reminder of strength and resiliency.
I meet daily with clients experiencing health concerns and terminal illnesses. I have 2 years experience working in a cancer center, providing case management and mental health services for oncology patients, their families and loved ones. I have ongoing experience working with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, hospice/death/dying, grief/loss, anger, chronic stress, fatigue, career challenges, HIV, and trauma-related disorders. I have also worked with patients and their families, who are faced with end stage renal disease, and who are on dialysis.
I work with clients of all ages, across the life span.
I am committed to provide clients with support while effectively addressing personal life challenges that can become overwhelming.
I am LGBTQIA+ friendly. I believe in treating everyone with respect, dignity, sensitivity, and compassion. I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. Everyone should have a safe and healing place to work through life's difficulties.
My approach to therapy combines mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral, solution focused, strengths based, humanistic and psychodynamic counseling. I will tailor our sessions and treatment goals/plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
I look forward to working with you!

Amazing councillor, supportive, empathetic and respectful. Amanda has helped me so much even just listening to me vent and helped me find compassion amongst difficult times.

Amanda is a really amazing. Technically I don’t know her but she made me really comfortable to talk about everything. She also understands me so well even if English is not my first language, but she gave me time and listen to me every single details. After I told her my stories, she offered me some alternatives that could help me to deal with my issues. Overall I really have a great experience! And definitely I see some progress and changes in myself

She’s absolutely amazing. Really genuine and draws out positive conversation. I always leave the session feeling more grounded and in control. I’m really lucky to have been connected with the right person.
