Amanda Robinson, LPC
About me
Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and have been working with a variety of client populations for over 13 years. I have helped individuals of all ages with depression, anxiety, ADHD, Autism, grief/loss, parenting concerns, relationship challenges, addictions, trauma, abuse, bipolar disorder, emotional regulation, and adjustment issues stemming from difficulties with transitions in life. I have helped families understand how to support their loved ones who are facing these concerns.
My counseling style is warm and interactive and my goal is to offer you different perspectives to help you in your journey to wellness. Although I may be the mental health professional, I believe you are the expert on your own strengths and needs, and look for a way to incorporate these into treatment. I integrate my kindness, humor and objectivity to assist my clients and I believe in treating others with honesty, respect, sensitivity, and compassion, without judgment. My approach combines client centered therapy and holistic processing to address the wholeness and wellness of the entire person.
My goal is to help my clients be the best version of themselves and live the best life that is fulfilling and authentic to them. The process of uncovering, discovering, and initiating change takes courage. I am here to support and encourage you as you become that best version of yourself.
I look forward to working with you!

Not only is Amanda the most kind and caring person, she's the most thoughtful, observant, and calming therapist. Amanda helps me sort out my feelings, and I always feel better after speaking with her. I'm so grateful for Amanda!

Amanda is fantastic to work with. I specifically requested a counselor who had experience talking to other counselors and she has been fantastic. It is a great working relationship.

Amanda is great. The only issue I have is that she is from the U.S., which may or may not make insurance coverage problematic for Canadians who have been referred to your site.
