About me
Amberlin has her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and is licensed in the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is in her second year of acquiring a Ph.D. in Psychology from Liberty University.
She has worked in North Texas over the last few years in private practice groups and as a therapist and clinical director at a residential treatment facility for adolescents with substance abuse and mental health diagnoses. She is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and has extensive experience treating trauma, anxiety, depression and mood disorders. She has worked with adults, couples and adolescents through various challenges of life and has a passion for continuing to serve this population.
She believes that there is immense healing found in counseling as it provides a safe place for individuals to explore their unique journeys and reach their full potential.
