Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Amelia Bumgarner-Young. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

I’m so thankful for being connected with Amelia when I joined BetterHelp. I felt fully listened to and understood. She helped me look at things from a different angle sometimes and gave practical homework suggestions for ways to help in the healing process, which is exactly what I was asking for and needed. It helped me have a good starting place when I didn’t know where to begin and now I have more healthy tools to use when things come up in my life that are triggering or stressful.

I was wary of starting therapy and was genuinely doubtful of its benefits for me. Amelia helped me realize that it wasn't what I had built up in my head and sometimes just a friendly conversation means the world. After making sure I was comfortable talking about my issues, she allowed me to discuss them at my own pace and makes sure to listen. Thank you so much!

She really makes talking about things very easy.

I found Amelia to be empathetic, insightful, and easy to talk to. She gave me concrete strategies and support for dealing with a family crisis, and her suggestions about establishing boundaries and self-care truly helped me handle my anxiety. This was a short-term therapy, but I wouldn’t hesitate to request her services again. I recommend her without hesitation.
