After a few different tries with other counselors, I was matched with Amy, and I’m so glad I was. She’s like a warm hug, a cup of hot coffee in your hands on a brisk morning, or a cozy bed you can sink into after a long hard day of work. She’s a breath of fresh air and her perspective continues to amaze me.

I have spent many years working with various counseling and therapy services. It’s hard to find someone you click with and is the right fit. Amy was that person for me. She is so kind, positive, and is really intuitive. She is able to guide me in the way that helps me the most. We’re always trying new approaches to see what sticks and helps me along towards my goals. I’m a task oriented person, and I need to have steps and order to work through something. She was able to understand that after a few sessions, and now we’re incorporating some more hands on projects that are really opening up a whole new world for me in processing the things I’m working on. I cannot sing her praises enough. She’s really amazing.

I have greatly enjoyed my experience with Amy Bates. She is a wonderfully gentle nudge in the direction of my heart's desires; supportively acknowledging my personal goals and needs.
I've had sessions with work-sponsored/in-person EAP counselors at other moments of challenge in life, but I have to say that Amy Bates has far exceeded even the best experience with those in her field.
I feel supported, respected, and encouraged - three reasons that I feel many individuals turn to therapy/counseling.
I highly recommend Amy! Especially to those who are already on a set direction in life but require a little outside encouragement along the way or as they're working through a challenge in life.
