About me
Greetings and welcome! I applaud you for having the courage to take the first step in your journey to healing and a more fulfilling life!
My name is Amy Jackson, and I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker. I have 15 years of professional work experience in the community mental health and medical settings. I have experience in helping children and adults with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, parenting concerns, & coping with grief and loss. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. My therapy style is open and flexible. I believe in treating each individual with dignity and respect & meeting each individual where they are currently in the therapeutic journey. I believe there is no "cookie-cutter" approach to treatment. Therefore, my approach will be tailored to your individual needs.
