I am licensed in Colorado with 12 years of professional work experience. I also have a history of working in a nursing home setting as a Social Services Director of 10 years. I have experience in helping clients with lgbt-related issues, family conflicts, & trauma and abuse. I also have experience working with depression. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Amy Montoya is such a professional when it comes to communication and expertise in guidance, she takes time and effort to talk with you during your sessions. Allowing you to express yourself with out any judgment. Her experience definitely shows when dealing with anxiety as she has offered ways to help calm down that truly work wonders. Amy is also very understanding and patient, I definitely recommend her as she has helped me push through the process and gave me a better understanding of myself.

Amy has been the best therapist I have ever had. She listens to my concerns and needs and always offers great feedback and interventions to work on on my own. She always shows compassion and is allows you to take the lead during sessions.
