About me

I am a licensed clinical social worker with 20 years of experience working with people of all ages. I have worked with clients who are experiencing a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, struggles with parenting, adjustment and career challenges and grief and loss. I also have experience working with people who have experienced trauma and abuse.
My counseling style is strengths based and client centered. I believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy and task-centered therapy. Because we are interrelated and interdependent, I believe it’s also important to look at the systems that affect our lives. I assist clients to develop goals and put into action a means to meet those goals
Seeking therapy is a courageous step towards leading a happier and more fulfilling life. It takes strength to show vulnerability. It has always been my honor to have the trust of a client as they begin to see their own strength and resiliency and to feel empowered.
I look forward to working with you.

Extremely attentive and professional. Did not interrupt, even when the session was over. Always understanding of my personal needs as a patient. Always available and responds within 12-24 hrs of communication. Very grateful for her hard work.

Amy is a phenomenal therapist. It is evident she cares for her clients and the job as a whole. Amy is timely, professional, personable & goes the extra mile with her clients. She utilizes her time outside of the therapy session to provide “check ins” or “tips of the week” as well as provides “homework assignments” as desired. She opens the door to various perspectives, she asks questions while respecting boundaries, and she creates an atmosphere of comfortability and closeness even through a video call. I would recommend Amy to anyone looking for a therapist! I am so thankful that her and I matched.
