I have a passion for counseling which began over 25 years ago. I have lots of experience with just about any age, diagnosis, and issue that are problems for people. A recent client said to me that I "was her lighthouse" in the foggiest time in her life. Another client recently told me that I helped him "spread his wings" and see how strong and wide they really are. Another client described my style as "intuitively accurate" and that her work with me was "life changing."
I have a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Temple University, and a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. (PA License # 006032)
My style of counseling is individualized to fit the client. I am told my approach is warm, engaging, and supportive. I am solutions oriented and often utilize a cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, and strengths based approach. I specialize in anxiety difficulties, confidence and self esteem, relationships and communication, emotional trauma, and mood disorders. I know there are many counselors to choose from, but I think you will find me to be able to quickly determine what you need and get you comfortably back on track to living the best life you can. And I won't quit until you are satisfied. Whether you choose to work with me or someone else, I wish you the very best life has to offer.

Amy was kind, compassionate, very knowledgable and provided a great sense of calm (and humor) in a difficult time. She took the time to listen and really watch for visual cues to tune in to my feelings. I would highly recommend Amy for their services and I am very grateful for my experience.

Her kindness and generosity lift me up and, after a year of working together, I am so much healthier, happier, and closer to being fully myself.

Amy was an incredibly kind therapist who helped me to see that I was more than my traumatic past. After having her as my therapist I felt more sure of myself and what I wanted out of life. I could not have asked for a better therapist to introduce me to the concept of online and individualized person-centered therapy.

Amy is an incredible counselor with endless empathy and unconditional support for her client. Before starting counselling, I had little understanding of how much it means to just be listened to, heard, and not judged. Amy lets you figure things out at your own pace and offers tremendous insight into why you do the things you do, or have certain reactions/behaviors that appear to "just happen" for no apparent reason. Amy has helped me make important first steps on a journey to recovery that I am now much more confident in undertaking.

Amy is the most supportive person I’ve spoken to in my life so far! Her words were so enlightening and all of her counseling techniques were accurate and beneficial. It very much felt like a friend I was leaning on. She feels like a person I will always refer back to in my mind and that I’ll always want to talk to about how I’m on track and doing okay. I’m so incredibly thankful I chose BetterHelp counseling and even more so that Amy came across my profile! I’ll never forget her and that gives me more of a natural high than the one we found together (:

Amy has been so great! I’d never had a counselor before and I was very skeptical about opening up and sharing some things with her at first, but she definitely made me feel like she was my Aunt that lived a couple states away and it seemed as if we were just talking on the phone, catching up. After my first session with her I felt completely comfortable, totally at home, willing to try anything she suggested, and for the first time in a long time, I felt very hopeful! 10/10 would for sure recommend!
