About me
Hi and thank you for visiting my page! It takes courage to seek a happier, more fulfilling life and to take the first steps to change.
My name is Anastasia Porche Arceneaux and I am Licensed Professional Counselor in Louisiana. I have a Master's in Psychological Counseling and a Specialist in School Psychology. I have experience with working with children, adolescents, and adults in various mental health settings. I have multiple certifications in the behavioral health field. I have helped many clients work through stress, anxiety, trauma and abuse, self-injurious behaviors, parenting issues, relational/family issues, and depression.
With 14 years of experience in the counseling field, I cherish the feeling of ensuring my clients are "in good hands" through our therapeutic relationship. It is extremely important to me that you feel understood and heard in our therapeutic relationship. I believe everyone needs someone to talk too. I take a non-judgemental approach to developing and maintaining a therapeutic relationship with my client. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support and empower you in that journey.
My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, client-centered, trauma-informed, and motivational interviewing. I will "meet you where you are at" in your journey to "being a better version of you." If you are ready to take the next step, I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you soon!
