About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor with over 17 years of experience across the lifespan (ages 4-99) in a multitude of environments. I have worked in my own private practice, inpatient and outpatient settings, crisis call centers, suicide hotlines, and military installations. I have worked with individuals, couples, and families, and give group presentations for psycho-education.

Sometimes it helps to have a trained, objective individual to talk with when life gets challenging. I am thrilled to partner with you on your journey. I will work with you to help you find solutions to the challenges you are facing, and help empower you to successfully move through difficult times. I work with clients experiencing depression, stress, anxiety, addiction, family conflicts, relationship challenges, career frustrations, and many other day-to-day life experiences and stressors.

I take a goal-focused approach to help you change unwanted behavior and learn new coping skills to manage life situations. I partner with my clients to help them develop the skills they need to achieve their highest good and manage their lives more effectively.

I believe in living life to the fullest and practicing self-care to balance life’s challenges and will help you to do the same.

I’ve only met with Andrea one time and I’m looking forward to our next meeting. She was so knowledgeable, seemed like she knew exactly what I’m going through.. great advice thus far.

Andrea is so helpful! She really understands where I am coming from and offers real help through her words and through activities to delve deeply into myself. I highly recommend Andrea and this type of counseling to busy professionals like me who find it difficult to get to face to face counseling!

She is extremely understanding and patient with me. Her willingness to go above and beyond with me and my single mother full time and full time employment to help me is truly astounding!
