She’s great at challenging you when you need to be challenged but also is soft and supportive when you need an empathetic listener. She’s also good at helping me problem solve and keep myself accountable for goals I try to set for myself.

I started working with Andrea about six weeks ago, meeting weekly. I was frank from the beginning about my early sobriety ...I am 4 months sober. Struggles with parenting and marriage in early sobriety coupled with a life-long struggle with bulimia for over 30 years. The tips and strategies and just the way she listens and gives brief feedback that is super relevant, has been so incredibly helpful. She recommended a book called The bulimia Help Method, which I had never heard of. After years of being in various 12-step programs for food and having seen numerous therapists , nutritionists, done workshops, read books, everything under the sun I could possibly think of to try to address my bulimia, morning has helped. True I needed to address my drinking issue and be sober in order to address my bulimia and binge eating but her recommendation of this book and other recommendations such as grounding techniques and practical things like putting up a giant family calendar to create structure since we have little kids with juggling schedules and one car. These suggestions have been spot on to help me. this particular book that Andrea recommended is making perfect sense to me and has already helped me. I think that she is a very good counselor and I would highly recommend her to others.
