About me

Hello,
My name is Angela Marshall and I am Licensed professional counselor in the state of Virginia. In the last five years I have worked with a wide range of issues such as substance abuse, trauma, grief and loss, family conflict, anxiety, depression, transitional challenges and ADHD.

My counseling style is person centered, meeting people where they are to help them attain their goals. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, solution focused, motivational interviewing and rational emotive counseling. I will design your treatment plan to meet your specific needs and goals.

Taking the first step toward change can be very challenging. However, If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and encourage you.

I look forward to working with you!

Great

I have worked with her back in 2020 and she was literally god sent or a miracle in my life. She’s a good listener, helped me understand my own perception in different lights and how I think it is perceived vs how it might actually been perceived. She worked with me in my worst times and helped me get better. I am after 2 years again starting therapy and I was sure of working with her only!

She is amazing. She tries to understand your background, culture differences, your thoughts process and patterns and help you see them too. I highly recommend
