About me

As a therapist and social activist, I have a passion for supporting other world changers in being able to care for themselves while they do the hard work of making the world a better place. I have spent my career in the trenches of community and social activism. I have a passion for helping others and personally experienced the emotional toll this work can have on your personal life. As a person of faith, my work is grounded in my own spirituality but I also realize this does not safeguard us from compassion fatigue. I can help my clients to navigate the stresses of life to find ways to connect to natural and community based supports. My goal is to help my clients to embrace their sense of call to their vocation, while also learning to balance other parts of their lives with outlets for joy and creativity in order to combat stress, depression and anxiety.

Dr. Anita Anglade has been wonderful for me. This past year she has helped me work through the death of my Mother, and the long illness and death of my husband of 35 years. She has always been there to listen to me and give me advice and comfort along the bumpy road! I can’t recommend Anita strong enough. Anita has helped boost my self esteem and self-love enormously. She has been a life-saver for me.

Therapy has been helpful for me because it has allowed me to have someone to talk to about the things that are stressful in my life. It has also helped me to realize that it’s okay for me to take care of myself and not always take care of everyone else. My therapist is a kind woman who listens to me and give me good advice when I have problems.
