Ann Ghabel, LISW
About me
I am licensed in Iowa with 10 years of professional work experience as a therapist. In addition I worked for 40 years in an inpatient child psychiatry unit as a nurse and taught psychiatric nursing. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, & parenting issues. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I am a Brainspotting practioner, this is a tool that may be used to help people improve understanding and insight about issues causing distress. It is also useful for people who have experienced emotional trauma.
