Anna Marie Bunch, LPCC
About me
Hello there!
First, I want to thank you for considering therapy with me. I’m genuinely excited that you’re here! My name is Anna Marie Bunch, a licensed therapist in Kentucky with over 11 years of professional experience.
In my career, I've worked extensively in private practice and diverse settings, including K-12 schools, men's residential recovery programs, and through telehealth. I founded a nonprofit in 2016 dedicated to eliminating treatment barriers for mental health treatment. With a Master’s of Education in Human Services and Counseling, I graduated with honors. I’m a lifelong learner and have served as an Adjunct Professor and Clinical Supervisor with eight years of teaching in Addictions, Social Work, and Human Services. I am also familiar with medication-assisted treatment for substance dependence.
As a mother, I understand life's complexities and joys. My approach to therapy is built on unconditional love, support, and understanding. I believe in providing a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore and solidify your answers, identify cognitive distortions, and work through unhealthy patterns.
If we work together, we'll start by enhancing your self-love, advocacy, and respect, forming a strong foundation for change. I use a person-centered approach, complemented by evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
I am here to support you through a wide variety of challenges. You are the expert of your story, and my role is to help you harness your strengths to overcome obstacles. I provide worksheets, homework, coping skills, and more tailored to your needs.
I pride myself on meeting clients where they are, offering non-judgmental understanding, and fostering growth. My biggest strengths are my genuine care and my ability to provide a safe, supportive environment.
I’m proud of you for taking this step towards therapy. Please visit my website www.annamariebunch.com to read my blogs on mental health, psychology, and neuroscience for additional insights and support.
I look forward to embarking on this journey with you.
