About me

Hello, my name Annie and I'm a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years experience as a therapist. I have worked with a number of clients with a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, grief and loss, substance abuse, and parenting issues. I also have a great deal of experience working with the geriatric population.

I received my educational training at Fordham University in New York City as a Master of Social Work. My professional training included working at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center on the dual diagnoses unit as well as Bedford Hills Correctional Facility in Bedford, NY.

My counseling style is a very open, warm, and relaxing exchange. I believe in a client-centered approach, and the most important aspect of the therapist/client relationship is for the client to feel comfortable. My approach includes Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, and is tailored to meet the needs of each client individually.

I am aware of how difficult it can be to ask for help especially when one is at a low point in their life. I am here to accept, support, and guide you through this challenge and journey. It will be my pleasure to assist you. Thank you for your consideration!

I’ve said it before and have been asked to write several reviews for Annie. She’s incredibly knowledgeable at her craft and goes way and beyond to be incredibly consistent and reliable. If you’ve had therapy prior, then you’re aware of the importance of the aforementioned.
