I am a social worker licensed in Florida with 28 years of professional work experience. I have worked with clients coping with a variety of issues, including stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, major illness, addictions, and grief and loss. I worked extensively with veterans and am familiar with the unique challenges they face. Depending on the needs and concerns of the client, I utilize various approaches to treatment, including motivational, solution-focused, rational emotive behavioral (REBT), cognitive behavioral (CBT), and neuro-linguistic changework (NLP).

April has a very calm demeanor and really listens. She doesn't forget details which really makes you feel like she truly cares. She has helped me tremendously feel like I'm not crazy and has given me ideas and tools to use to make my difficult situation easier and it has worked.
