Ashley Couch, LCSW
About me
Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker passionate about helping others become their authentic selves. I have 15 years of experience working with youth of all ages and families in various settings (school, community, and in home) and 5 years of experience providing clinical therapy services both in person and virtually.
I work with individuals of all ages struggling with a variety of mental health concerns and life challenges, including mood disorders, stress and anxiety, LGBTQIA+ related issues, trauma and abuse, grief/loss, divorce/separation, and eating disorders.
My treatment modalities of expertise include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Art Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
I utilize a strength-based approach to empower my clients to practice the courage and vulnerability to first love themselves. I am big proponent of radical self-love and the connection between mind, body, and soul. I believe that wholeheartedly loving yourself first is the key to long lasting change.
I believe in treating everyone with respect, empathy, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage, and I am proud of you for getting started!
***Please note that I do have more availability than what's on my calendar, including some weekends as needed. I prefer to schedule directly with my clients as my schedule varies. We will find a time that works for both of us!***
