Ashley Crank, LPC
About me
Hi, my name is Ashley and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and Oklahoma with over 5 years of experience working as an adolescent and family therapist. I received my Master's in Education, with a specialization in Community Counseling, from the University of Oklahoma in 2014. I have worked in several settings, including inpatient treatment, therapeutic foster care, and in the school system. I have worked with clients as young as 4, to adults, with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, anger and impulse control issues, severe neglect, abuse, and PTSD, as well as family and parenting problems.
My counseling style is empathetic, and I love to work together with my clients, meeting them where they are, but challenging them when they are ready. My approach combines Trust Based Relational Interventions, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and mindfulness counseling. I will make adjustments in techniques and styles used in our sessions, as your specific needs present themselves, and as I learn further from our therapeutic relationship.
It takes courage to seek counseling and if you are here, you are already making a huge and powerful step in improving your situation and life. I believe working together, we can make strides in improving the struggles you face. I am here to support and empower you in any way I can, as I know first hand how beneficial counseling can be.
I look forward to meeting you!

Ashley is to this day one of the best therapists I've ever had. She was always supportive and gentle when I needed it, and made sure to communicate with me in a way I could understand. She was empathetic and kind, and also helped me to challenge myself without it feeling like an attack. I'm so glad I was matched with her

Ashley has been very helpful. I feel very comfortable talking to her. She listens to me and I don’t feel awkward discussing personal matters to her. She’s been amazing and has helped me overcome difficult obstacles in my life.

I was reluctant to starting therapy with yet another therapist. I signed up and I went through the different therapist profiles etc. I came across Ashley and I said I hope she is able to help me with my concerns, worries, and stressors and just general conversation! She is amazing and I have told a friend of mine to sign up and with Ashley, they won't be disappointed!
